About me
Nate Hughes is a second-year doctoral student at Syracuse University who identifies as Autistic. He holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Lesley University and previously worked as a youth transition coach for an independent living center in Massachusetts. At Syracuse, he co-leads programming for Neurodivergent students and teaches undergraduate courses on inclusive education. He has been serving as the self-advocacy chair for the Massachusetts Council for Exceptional Children for the last three years.
