About me
Dr. Jennifer McIntire is Treasurer for MCEC. She is an elementary program coordinator in the Amherst Public Schools, where she is responsible for the education needs of students with moderate to severe special education needs. She has been working with children with disabilities for more than 25 years and specializes in working with children with autism. Jennifer is a BCBA, and she adjuncts at Elms College in the certification program and supervises graduate students in applied settings who are working to become behavior analysts. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is passionate about inclusion, and her research is on the use of evidence-based practices to teach and model to students with autism in inclusive settings.
